Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Role Overview

As our Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will guarantee the resilience, scalability, and security of systems serving global users. You will champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC), establish automated deployment pipelines, and continuously optimize cloud spending.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage multi-region cloud infrastructures on AWS (and GCP) using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Containerize microservices using Docker and orchestrate scalable workloads via Kubernetes (EKS) and AWS ECS.
• Build zero-downtime CI/CD deployment pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions with automated linting, security scans, and test runs.
• Implement centralized monitoring, observability, and alerting stacks using Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and AWS CloudWatch.
• Perform ongoing cloud cost audits, rightsizing compute resources and optimizing database IOPS to maximize efficiency.
• Enforce strict cloud security postures, IAM least-privilege policies, secret management (Vault), and VPC networking rules.
• Participate in on-call escalation rotations and lead post-incident root-cause analysis (RCA).

Requirements & Experience

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Demonstrated mastery of AWS core services (VPC, EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Route53, IAM).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and configuration management.
• Deep experience creating robust CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Strong scripting capability in Bash, Python, or Go for automation tasks.
• Firm understanding of Linux systems administration, networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, HTTP/2).
